We’re delighted to share that Melissa Thom, founder and CEO of BRAVA, has been honoured as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (RSA). This prestigious recognition highlights her commitment to supporting and empowering creative professionals.
Founded in 1754, the RSA (Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce) is a historic organisation dedicated to finding innovative solutions to social challenges. Being named an RSA Fellow is a significant accolade, recognising individuals who have made outstanding contributions to society in their respective fields.
Melissa’s work through BRAVA has provided valuable training for creative professionals looking to develop their voice, speech and communication skills. With the launch of BRAVA Business, she has also extended her focus to improving communication skills in the workplace, helping a wide range of professionals enhance their abilities.
In addition to her work at BRAVA, Melissa hosts the High Notes podcast, where she explores the art and business of voice. She also contributes her expertise as a judge for the ARIAS, the UK’s audio and radio awards, and serves as a Women in Games Ambassador. Despite these many roles, Melissa remains dedicated to learning and growing alongside her peers.
Melissa’s clients have included prominent names such as Rockstar Games' GTAV, Elder Scrolls for Zenimax, Amazon, Google, UNICEF and LL COOL J, but she approaches her work with humility and a genuine passion for helping others succeed.
We’re excited to see Melissa engage with the RSA community, sharing her knowledge and supporting the organisation’s mission to drive social progress.
