BRAVA works with students of all ages and abilities, from beginners through advanced. We specialise in training professionals from a wide range of disciplines, including acting, broadcast, advertising and the wider creative industries, wishing to add voiceover to their skillset.
WHERE SHOULD I START?
Beginners
If you’re completely new to VoiceOver, we recommend starting with our Foundation Course. This is a short, affordable, beginner-friendly introduction to the craft, business, and techniques of VO. This course prepares you for Stage 1 Narration and removes the need for an audition.

If you already have some performance or VO experience and feel ready to commit to an intensive programme, you can apply directly for Stage 1 Narration by booking a Discovery Call.

Intermediate & Advanced
For those who have completed Stage 1, or who already have solid VO experience, we offer advanced training in Commercial and Character work, as well as bespoke 1-1 coaching and masterclasses to refine your skills in specific areas. All training is offered as live, personalised, 1-1s or group sessions. ​​
BEGINNERS
Foundation Course – Start your VoiceOver journey
If you’re new to VoiceOver and not sure where to begin, our live online Foundation Course is the perfect first step. Over three weeks, you’ll learn the basics of script analysis, performance techniques, and how the business works — all in a supportive group environment. This course gives you the confidence and skills to move forward and prepares you to progress to our Stage 1 Narration training. ​

STAGE 1: NARRATION

​This is an intensive, personalised 1-1 course, over 3 months that prepares you to enter the market. We look at the current VO landscape and dig deep into the performance and theory of the art of VO and explore a range of techniques.
The course includes sessions on home studio, script analysis, getting work, demos, business, marketing and more and is designed to prepare you for cutting your narration demo. The demo is booked separately when you are ready to record. Contact us for costs.
**To book onto the STAGE 1: NARRATION course, you will need to arrange a Discovery call with us, so we can assess your needs, after which there is a simple audition process, which we will guide you through.

​STAGE 2: COMMERCIAL

Prior training: STAGE 1: NARRATION
​​This is an intensive and advanced VO course held over 3 months, that is designed to prepare you for the world of Commercial VO. It is a deep dive into the advertising industry and equips you with the performance, theory and techniques you will need to master this genre of VO.
​
Content: Advertising, Commercial 101, Performance and Theory, Industry specific scripts, Advanced techniques.
The aim of the course is to prepare you to cut your professional Commercial Demo which is booked separately when you are ready. Contact us for costs.

STAGE 3: CHARACTERS INTENSIVE

​​This is a highly intensive course designed for those who are serious about adding character work to their skillset. The course introduces you to a range of character styles, techniques, genres, industry expectations, cartoons, Anime and toys, video games, accents and more.
Run by our Master Character coach, Elaine Clark, based in San Francisco. This is the first step towards preparing for your characters demo, which is booked separately. We will guide you through this process as we work together. Please contact us to discuss this and costs in more detail.​

Our training is also accredited by SPOTLIGHT. Once you have completed all Core Modules (Narration, Commercial and Characters) and Acting Stages 1-4, over a 2-year period, you will be eligible to apply for a Spotlight Performers Membership. Learn more here.
