About the Masterclass
Video game voice acting is about much more than reading lines. It’s about stepping into the character’s world and making players believe every word. From heroes to villains, every role demands a voice that connects - and sticks with players long after the game is over.
Tom Keegan knows exactly how to make that happen. As the BAFTA-nominated performance director behind some of gaming’s biggest franchises, and the author of “The Complete Guide to Videogame Performance Directing,” he’s focused on helping actors deliver their best work every time. Tom will be joining us direct from LA, in-person right here in central Bristol.
In this workshop, Tom teaches the essential tools actors need to break through the security codes and get to the essence of bringing a game character to life. This is your chance to dig deep into characters, learn how to interpret game scripts and bring authenticity to your performance while being directed by one of gaming’s most experienced directors.
Listen to Tom on our High Notes podcast, where he explores the evolution of voice in games, the role of subtext, and what makes video game acting unique.
