Rob is the perfect voice for corporate narration for sports & finance brands. With a soft northern accent (native Doncaster), he is a highly experienced broadcaster, specialising in sports commentary for clients including Sky Sports, ATP & WTA Tour Tennis, Professional Darts Corporation (PDC), talkSPORT, Times Radio & Virgin Radio and has travelled Europe extensively in this capacity.
Rob has been part of the Times Radio newsroom team since the station's launch in June 2020. He has reported on UK General Election and US Presidential Elections, and from his fully equipped broadcast quality home studio, produced bulletins for the network's coverage during the Covid-19 pandemic.
With a post-grad in Media Law and a degree in Economics, Rob has a sound understanding of the corporate and financial sectors. His passions include Italian, History & Politics and he has a particular aptitude for the pronunciation of names/vocabulary in Russian and other Slavic languages.
He is an avid supporter of Leeds Utd.
