Neil Wyllie
Deep, gravelly Scottish voice with warmth, gravitas and a grounded, authentic delivery.
Originally from Longniddry in East Lothian, near Edinburgh, Neil brings an authentic Scottish voice to every read: deep, gravelly, grounded and unmistakably real. His voice moves effortlessly between rich, textured gravitas and the blunt, laconic honesty often associated with Scottish character: no-nonsense, unadorned and always believable.
Before the booth, Neil built a career in the pharmaceutical industry, having studied chemistry at university. This background gives him real fluency with technical and medical language, and alongside his natural Scottish lilt, he is equally at home in Estuary English and British RP/SSBE, making him a strong fit for medical, pharmaceutical and corporate narration.
His scientific interests also extend to marine biology, lending him a genuine, knowledgeable connection to the natural world. This makes him a compelling fit for natural history and documentary narration, where authenticity and a real sense of wonder matter as much as vocal polish.
A committed lover of fine beer and craft ales, Neil also brings warmth and authenticity to drinks and hospitality campaigns with a Scottish edge.
