Three days. A lot of listening. And some brilliant conversations.

From deep dives into truth and power with broadcasting royalty to honest talks from women in business, music and acting, we left the very first SXSW London with lots of new connections and a serious lack of shut-eye.

One standout moment? Hearing one of the finest voices of our generation, Mishal Husain, in conversation with Tina Brown; two media icons talking about accountability, tech and 'asking for a friend' for advice on British versus American journalism. The only drawback was that sessions were far too short - 30 minutes was simply not enough time to be in the room with such intelligent, articulate and experienced voices.

We were grateful for an invite to 'Ladies Who Launch' - an event which gave us a grounded and very present Rochelle Humes, followed by raw reflections on legacy and speaking up in society from actor, Letitia Wright, and Afrobeats icon, Tiwa Savage, expertly moderated by Itua Ehimuan.

We went deep on issues close to our heart - talking voice, performance and more with Centroid’s Phil Stilgoe. And of course, the electric energy of UK House, brilliantly curated by the Department of Business and Trade, where conversation flowed and future events and partnerships were created.

If we had one wish? A much deeper dive on AI next time please. Whilst the angst of AI was pushed across a large number of panels, we didn't learn anything new, especially the talk from Eleven Labs. And perhaps some logistical finessing - many of the panels were full - we managed to get into the ones that mattered most, but many didn't, even after paying an awful lot for a ticket.

To all our colleagues and new connections - thank you for the discussions, late night chats and invites to speak on upcoming panels and events. We'll be working with many of you soon at our in-person presentation workshops in Bristol and London.

If you'd like to join us to work on your voice, speech and communication covering topics like Finding your Voice, Pitching, Presenting and more, sign up to the waitlist here.

It's been a blast. Until next year.
