Melissa heads up BRAVA and specialises in commercial, corporate, animation and characters, narration, audiobooks and marketing for VO.

Melissa works as a full time VO and has lectured and coached across a range of subjects, including VO, podcasting, live radio and presentation for education providers including Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, Ravensbourne University, and LEAs across the UK.

Melissa has an MSc in Marketing Communications from The University of the West of England. She was Head of Comms at digital agency, e3 (now Great State) and took on a range of consultancy roles for startups - most notably, SecondSync (co-founded by her husband), which was acquired by Twitter in 2014. She went on to live and work as a VO in California for two years.

Melissa regularly speaks at industry events and is now based in Bristol working from her garden studio.
