A Day to Reset Your Breath and Voice
This one-day retreat offers space to step away from the constant demands of work and daily life, and reconnect with your breath and voice.
Through guided breathwork and gentle vocal exploration, you’ll be supported to restore clarity, confidence and ease in both your voice and nervous system.
Rather than pushing or fixing, the day invites you to listen, soften and reset - allowing your voice to feel more supported, responsive and grounded.
A Slower, More Restorative Way of Working
The retreat takes place over a full day in a quiet, natural setting in Bristol.
The morning is spent indoors, focusing on breath and voice work. Through guided exercises, you’ll begin to regulate the nervous system and reconnect with your vocal instrument in a steady, supported way.
After lunch, the day opens out into a restorative outdoor spa session, offering space for relaxation, integration and reflection.
The pace is intentionally unhurried, with time to rest, notice and absorb what you’re experiencing.
What You’ll Explore
Breath powers the voice. When things feel strained, disconnected or depleted, it is to the breath that we return.
Across the day, you’ll be guided through:
Breathwork practices to help regulate the nervous system
Vocal techniques to restore ease, resonance and clarity
Releasing habitual tension held in the body and voice
Supporting vocal stamina and presence without force
Gentle awareness practices to deepen connection with your voice
A Shared, Supportive Space
This is also a chance to spend time with others who work with their voice, in a small and thoughtful group.
Alongside the guided sessions, there will be space for conversation, shared reflection, and informal connection throughout the day.
Who This Is For
This retreat is open to anyone who works with their voice and would value time to reset, restore and reconnect through breath and voice work. No prior voiceover training is required.
It may be particularly supportive if you’re feeling vocally or mentally fatigued, or if you’re looking for a more embodied and spacious way to reconnect with your voice.
