What you’ll work on
Over two live sessions, you’ll develop the skills needed to narrate eLearning content with clarity, authority and ease. This intensive focuses on performance, comprehension, and meeting client expectations in professional eLearning environments.
You will explore how tone, pacing and delivery directly affect learner engagement and understanding.
How the intensive runs
This is a live, two-part online intensive delivered over two weeks. Each session combines teaching, listening, live performance and practical exercises.
Between sessions, you’ll complete a short eLearning recording assignment to apply the work in practice.
What we’ll explore and practise
Narrating eLearning requires a friendly, knowledgeable and authoritative presence. Whether voicing narration, a virtual instructor, or re-enacting a person in a specific scenario, the end-user experience is strongest when the voice sounds comfortable, natural and informative.
Across the intensive, you’ll explore both performance and real-world expectations, including:
The ten recognised eLearning styles
Course structures and how learners process information
Script analysis for clarity and ease of learning
Movement, emotion, tempo and voice placement
Performance choices that support comprehension
Technical and delivery expectations in professional eLearning environments
You’ll record short eLearning scripts and receive direction and feedback, with adjustments focused on producing consistent, usable recordings for clients.

Who this is for
This intensive is designed for people who already work with their voice and want to expand into eLearning narration. It is ideal if you have completed Stage 1: Narration or have equivalent experience.

The course is delivered online over Zoom. Please ensure you have a computer or tablet with a microphone and camera. The zoom link will be shared once your booking is confirmed.
About the coach
Based in San Francisco, Elaine A. Clark is a pioneering entrepreneur, communication coach, author, and creator with over 40 years of experience in voice-overs, acting, directing, casting, and audio production. She has written and developed a dozen eLearning courses and voiced, cast, directed, and/or recorded nearly a thousand courses for her clients.
